Vanni and Anuradhapura regions excel
People’s Bank Jaffna Sports Meet
View(s): People’s Bank concluded its Jaffna Sports Meet on a grand scale at the Durayappa Stadium recently.
The inter-regional teams competed in several sporting events such as volleyball, football, netball and other sports. In addition to the Jaffna region staff members, colleagues from Vanni, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa regions also participated in the event.
Winners of the football and tug-o’-war women’s championships were the Vanni Region while Anuradhapura Region bagged the volleyball and tug-o’-war men’s championship.
Present at this occasion was the People’s Bank CEO/GM Mr. Vasantha Kumar, the Executive Management and a large number of bank staff together with their families.
