Set in November 1922, the story begins with Howard Carter’s famous discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun. Along with Lord Carnarvon and his daughter Lady Evelyn, Carter enters the tomb and discovers the treasures buried for over 3,000 years.

The visitors discover the story of this little known king through the hieroglyphs that comes to life, teaching all about Ancient Egypt. Tutankhamun who is awakened, needs to join his father, Osiris, among the stars.

The strong and catchy tunes helped the musical to convey it’s message successfully. The script by Gawen Robinson has been adapted to suit the cast of Year 3 and Year 4 pupils (approx. 200 pupils).
