A new Viharaya for Randenigama Purana Temple
View(s):A ceremony was held to launch the construction of a new Viharaya at the Randenigama Purana Temple at Nikeweratiya on Monday.
Former Minister Rohitha Bogollagama and Mrs Deepthi Bogollagama participated at the foundation ceremony as chief guests and the main sponsors.
The Randenigama Temple has remained the traditional family Temple of the Bogollagama family for more than three centuries.
Also present at the ceremony attended by a large number of relatives and the public, were the Provisional Council member Nilantha Rajapakse and the UNP’s Nikeweratiya organizer M Tennakone.
