World Glaucoma Week begins today

Many activities have been organised by the Glaucoma Interest Group of the College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka with the Vision 2020 Programme in connection with the World Glaucoma Week from today, March 12 to 18.

The Glaucoma Awareness Walk and Demonstration will be held on March 16. The walk will set off at 8.30 a.m. from the National Eye Hospital, Colombo, circle Lipton’s Circus and return to the Eye Hospital.

Meanwhile, a mass screening programme for glaucoma will be held on March 17 at the National Eye Hospital, Colombo.
