DS-Mahanama clash ends in a draw
View(s):The 11th Battle of the Gold’s big match between traditional rivals Mahanama Colombo and D.S Senanayake played at P. Sara Oval ended in a tame draw.
DSS batsman Muditha Lakshan top scored
The highlight of the second day’s play was an unfortunate miss by DSS batsman Muditha Lakshan who fell short by two runs of his ton. DSS in reply to Mahanama’s score of 271 went on to make 268.
Kalutara clash also drawn
Half tons by Kavindu Gayashan and Dehan Dinuka saw Kalutara MV dominate proceedings against traditional rivals Tissa MMV in the drawn 59th Battle of the Mangoosteens concluded at Kalutara yesterday.
