20First Clothing, a fashion brand known for pushing the envelope, invites women to indulge their inner fashionista with the launch of their latest collection. Drawing inspiration from the runways of Paris and the tropical island lifestyle, founder and head designer Ishara Rodrigo focuses on styles which can make that seamless transition from formal function to casual gathering. Keeping to a neutral colour palette and a minimalist look 20First continues to allow women to embrace the freedom of comfort while being in vogue.
“My designs are generally airy, casual and free flowing to suit any body type but for this collection I wanted them to also be versatile. They needed to fit almost any social situation because the modern women is not just one thing. In our careers as in our private lives we play many different roles and our wardrobe should reflect that. Also, as the designs are minimalist pairing them with the proper accessories allows you to keep reinventing your look every time,” said Ishara.
These themes of comfort and versatility have been incorporated into five styles: a twill viscose shirt dress with pockets; a cotton shirt dress; an elegant one shoulder; a comfortable maxi; and a top with high slits. These are available in UK sizes 6 to 14. Most importantly the limited number of pieces for each style ensure an exclusivity and sense of uniqueness.
