With the AGMs of various looming candidates for top positions are gearing themselves for the elections. One particular association sees two top officials vying for the top post. At one time these two candidates were good friends but now they are at logger heads. In order to boost their chances the association in a bid to give youngsters a break decided not to allow those who are over 70 years of age, posts in the association. But the strange thing is that there is an individual who well over 70 years is holding an important post in a faraway post. What about that post Sir?

NO COST IS TOO MUCH

Recently an indoor stadium was declared open in the hill country for a considerable sum of money. Some time back too such a stadium was constructed in the same outstation place but it was shelved as the cost was said to be, too much. This time the stadium was declared open for more than double that cost. Is this in keeping to the rules of this sporting body?

EXTRAVAGANT COSTS

A helicopter was hired to take two officials for this function bordering the hill capital. The cost alone for the copter was Rs. 350.000. Once again the Big Question. Was this absolutely necessary when steps are being taken to cut down extravagant costs?

GETTING BACK WHAT HE DESERVES

At a motor sports meet held in a popular coastal town, this participant who was on the losing track, alleged that the other motorcyclists, numbering five, had far exceeded their engine capacities. In order to clear this doubt this participant had paid Rs. 15,000 for each motorcycle to check their engine capacities. If this participant is correct he will get back all the money he had spent which is around Rs. 90.000!

THE TARZAN WHO CANNOT BREAK A FENCE

The constitution of this particular sports body has been changed seven or eight times in order to stick to regulations. This constitution has been written in English as well as Sinhala but the mistakes continue. It looks as if this Tarzan cannot break this all important fence.
