Hindi classes at the Indian Cultural Centre
View(s):The Indian High Commission, through its Cultural Centre, announced admissions to Hindi classes for Sri Lankans, for the year 2017-2018.
Classes are conducted by a specialist Hindi teacher from India and Sri Lankan experts in Hindi.
Courses offered will be for Level 100 (Beginners), Level 200 (Intermediate), Level 300 (Advanced) and Level 400 (Postgraduate), special classes for GCE (O) Level and GCE (A) Level for Hindi as foreign language, Special Course for children between the ages of 7-15 years and special Spoken Hindi classes and Language Proficiency classes.
The Course duration for each Level is 1 year. Students are taught the syllabus followed by Kendriya Hindi Sansthan (KHS), India. At the end of each academic year, exams are conducted by the KHS, Agra, with certificates issued by KHS, Agra.
All those attending the present Courses are requested to re-apply for the new Courses. Applications for the Courses can be obtained from 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7, from 9 am-5 pm, on weekdays.
