2018 Grade 1 applications’ new deadline July 10
View(s):The Ministry of Education (MoE) has extended the closing date for 2018 Grade 1 applications till tomorrow, July 10.
The MoE’s decision to extend the closing date by 10 days was in compliance with parents’ demand for an extension of the deadline.
Accordingly, parents who have yet to submit their applications, can hand in their signed applications in person, to the school principals.
The MoE has directed school Principals to accept such applications and issue a letter of acknowledgment for the application received.
Further, all applications already posted and received after June 30 (Earlier Closing Date) will also be accepted.
The paralysis of the country’s postal service for 5 days last month, also contributed to the delay in the timely receipt of applications.
