School Science & Technology Exhibition in rural Kurunegala
View(s):An exhibition organized by the Science & Technology Society of the Perakumpura National School in the Mahawa Education zone, Kurunegala, was held recently at the school premises.
The school, situated in Yaya 3 rural area in Rajanganaya Left Bank Govi Janapada, has about 80 students following Technology in Grades 12 and 13, under the guidance of the Head of Technology in the school, T.U.P.K. Bandara.
The exhibition held on July 6 and 7, on Science & Technology, Bio Systems and Arts categories, was attended by a number of students, parents and teachers in the Perakumpura area.
It was organized with the guidance of the Mahawa Zonal Director of Education W.M. Aruna Shantha, Technology stream Assistant Director A.W.B. Lansakara, Giribawa Divisional Education Director H.N.M. Vipulasiri Herath and the Principal M.P. Sarath Ananda.
