College of Pathologists to host int’l conference

The 6th International Conference on ‘Renal, Respiratory Pathology & Thyroid, Pulmonary Cytology’ organized by the College of Pathologists of Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan British School of Pathology will be held from August 23-26 at the Hotel Ramada.
The College of Pathologists of Sri Lanka will host this conference as part of its annual academic sessions, 2017. The mission of the College has been to uplift the quality of the healthcare services through quality laboratory service, provided in Sri Lanka. “We strive to achieve this goal by maintaining high standards of medical education and keeping abreast of the innovative changes taking place within the field of medicine,” a press release from the College said.
The academic programme includes a series of lectures, on a range of engaging topics, and several interactive case discussions. Over 150 participants from Sri Lanka and abroad are expected to attend the conference that will provide a platform for participants to interact and exchange ideas.
