Lyceum IS and Our Ladies play friendly cricket in Nuwara Eliya
View(s):Lyceum International School Nuwara Eliya and Our Ladies’ School played a series of friendly cricket matches between their Under-13 teams at the Municipal ground in Nuwara Eliya on Tuesday.
Two matches were played on the same day where the first game was won by Our Ladies’ School while Lyceum International bounced back to claim the victory of the second encounter. The purpose of the fixture was to build relationship between two brother schools in Nuwara Eliya.
The four individual awards were shared by each school who claimed two apiece. Lyceum International’s Revon and Shehara won the Player of the Match and Best Fielder awards respectively while the awards for Best Bowler and Best Batsman were claimed by Ravindu and Sethum respectively of Our Ladies’ School. - NA
