‘Blockbuster’ opens
View(s):Muhurath ceremony for teledrama director and filmmaker Sripali Hettiarachchi’s latest cinema venture, ‘Blockbuster’, an action movie was held at the Sri Lanka Foundation, Colombo 7 recently.
A story which revolves around a mafia gang in a city which spreads all the vices including drugs and many other nefarious activities while causing terror to the people in the surrounding area and a police officer who fights against them.
The cast of the film includes Ravindra Randeniya, Lucky Dias, Amila Karunanayake, Indian actress Ritika Gulati, Kumara Ranapura, Shirani Kaushalya, Dayana K. Hettiarachchi, Srimali Fonseka, D. B. Gangodatenna and Shenaya Daniel. Behind the scene cinematographer is Nirmal Rajapaksa, assistant director Tharindu Ilangakone, production manager Ashoka Jayawardena, art director Sujith Lakmal Weerasinghe and musical score by Bathiya Jayakody and Santhush Weeraman.
