View(s):‘Love, Lies and Diamonds’, Indu’s 65th production is the story of Kusal Kukulawala and revolves around a diamond necklace. Kusal buys it for his girlfriend but his wife sees it and assumes it is for her and Kusal tries to get it back, all the while attempting to maintain to his girlfriend that he and his wife were separated and awaiting a divorce. “The moral is that married men should not cheat and women should be careful of men who complain about their wives,” Indu says.
‘Love, Lies and Diamonds’ will be staged from September 1-3 at the Lionel Wendt at 7.30 p.m. Tickets priced at Rs. 2000, 1500, 1000 and 500 (balcony, unreserved) are available at the Lionel Wendt. Indu promises that the play which is full of twists and turns will keep you entertained until the very end.
