“Go ahead, take it for a spin”

The Sri Lanka Air Force is flexing its military muscle, but these days it is to familiarise the public about its operations. At the Air Force camp in Vavuniya, a flight simulator is among the attractions on public display on which both adults and children can get the feel of being air borne. The move has put past fears of such military ware to rest and attracted a large number of people keen to see firsthand the contribution of the SLAF to national security. Pic by Priyantha Hewage
