An  evening of Indian Dance and Music (classical and folk) by  visiting artistes from the Hindustan Art & Music Society, Kolkata, India will be held on September 8 at the ICC auditorium, 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7.

The evening will consist of performances by well known artistes from different parts of India with Bharata natyam, Kuchipudi and Kathak dance numbers by Guru Dr. Rakhi Roy  and group, a musical  trio performance of Bhajan by Balwant Puranik, santoor by Prof. Chandan Mandal and  tabla by Pandit Prosenjit Poddar followed by folk dances of India    by Suman Mandal.  Entrance is free.
