Aru Sri Art Theatre performs at Ramayana Festival in Delhi
View(s):Aru Sri Art Theatre, Sri Lanka’s leading dance dramas and ethnic harmony concerts with international fame is to perform at the International Ramayana Festival in Delhi, Jaipur and Bhopal in India from September 12 to 20.
The performances are on the invitation ICCR from India with the Ministry of Tourism.
Aru Sri Art Theatre performed at the International Ramayana Festival in 2008 in Bhopal, Ujjain and Gwalior. Later in Gujarat, Indonesia and Singapore and also the Indian High Commission presented Shri Ram -dance drama produced by Dr Arunthathy Sri Ranganathan to coincide with the 61st anniversary of India’s Independence.
Arunthathy has made an everlasting contribution to the country’s efforts towards national reconciliation through a refreshing medium namely the performing arts. Being innovative and creative in its numerous endeavours both locally and internationally, Aru Sri Art Theatre was founded by veteran dancing guru Deshanethru Dr. Arunthathy Sri Ranganathan.
