‘Mother’
Hollywood’s latest horror film ‘Mother’ directed by Darren Aronofsky starring Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem in the lead started screening here on September 15, in line with the worldwide release.
The film, a psychological thriller about love, devotion and sacrifice that follows a young woman whose tranquil life with her husband at their country home is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious couple.
The relationship between the couple (Lawrence and Javier Bardem) is tested when uninvited guests start arriving at their home.
The film also stars Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer in the stellar cast.
The film by ‘Black Swan’ famed director was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 74th Venice International Film Festival
‘Mother’ is now being screened at Liberty By Scope, Arena – Katugastota and Sky Lite Malaba.
