Upcountry Lions SC, Nawalapitiya and SL Navy SC Colombo won their respective Dialog Champions League Stage Three football matches yesterday.
Up Country Lions beat SL Army 2-1 after leading 2-0 at the breather at the Kelaniya Football Complex. The goals were scored by Amartey Emma in the eighth and 23rd minutes. The goal for Army SC was netted in by De Silva in the 52nd minute.
At City League grounds Navy recorded a close 2-1 win over Super Sun. The first goal was scored by K. Bongso of Super Sun in the 18th minute. The two goals for Navy were scored by M. Sahil and N. Wijetunga in the 37th and 46th minutes.
There are five matches scheduled for today. They are Pelicans SC vs Java Lane SC at Kurunegala. Blue Star SC vs Police SC at Kalutara, Crystal Palace SC vs New Youngs SC at Nawalapitiya, Saunders SC vs Air Force SC at Kelaniya and Solid SC vs Negombo Youth SC at Anuradhapura.
