Sam Smith has swept across the UK singles chart as his latest single ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ has debuted at the No: 1 position. The piano led orchestral pop song pushed 33,000 downloads and 4.4 millions streams has become the 25 year old British artist’s fifth No: 1 UK single in his solo capacity or where he is the lead singer. The song is Smith’s third consecutive chart topping song on home ground. Sam Smith co-penned ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ with James Napier and Norwegians Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen. Napier co-produced the song with Steve Fitzmaurice. Smith’s new chart topping song is the lead single from next album.

Zayn Malik’s new single ‘Dusk To Dawn’ featuring Sia debuted on the UK singles chart at No: 5. It’s the lead single from his next album and is featured in the trailer of the film The Mountain Between Us. ‘Dusk To Dawn’ is the third top UK hit for the former One Direction member.

Camilla Cabello has scored her first UK top 10 hit with ‘Havana’ as the song moved from 11 to 10. The former Fifth Harmony member’s Latin/ pop track with its bouncy piano soft tone interspersed with a soft horn section is taken from her album ‘The Hurting The Healing The Loving’.

A Christmas album by Elvis Presley backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is to be released on 6th October. The yuletide songs have been combined from his 1957 album and the 1971 ‘Elvis Sings The Wonderful Christmas’ album – re-imagined with RPO. The 13 track album produced by Priscilla Presley will contain the best known Elvis Christmas songs.

Reports have emerged that Harry Styles has undergone surgery to repair a tight tendon on his wrist. The singer resumed his tour of North America on 18th September after his doctor assured that he would able a guitar on stage.
