Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions becomes the first hotel in Sri Lanka to be certified by Veggie Hotels – the first vegetarian hotel association worldwide. Introducing a holistic Ayurvedic experience, Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions has incorporated a purely vegetarian and vegan menu in line with the treatments offered at the property.

Since 2011, Veggie Hotels offers a platform that connects vegetarian and vegan guests and hosts worldwide.  Veggie Hotels have taken a pioneering role by reducing the carbon footprint of a vegetarian and also highlighting the significance of vegan diets attesting to the positive environmental impact of Veggie Hotels.

In its vision to create an experience of wellness, Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilion has ensured that even dining at the resort is a nourishing experience through its vegan and vegetarian menu. The Herb and Spice restaurant specializes in nutritious cuisine allowing guests to choose from its nourishing vegan and vegetarian menu. Signature dishes by skilled chefs include the traditional Sri Lankan ‘hath maluwa’, an ancient recipe combining seven ingredients with strong medicinal properties that together, create a delicacy that prevents and treats a range of physical ailments. The restaurant serves up a variety of special Ayurvedic meals and beverages that have been prescribed by their physicians.
