Quarter-finalists found after day one
The teams to qualify to the quarter finals of the Cup, Bowl and Shield categories of the Milo All Island inter-schools U14 Division Two Ten a Side rugby tournament were found after the completion of the round robin matches that was played on day one at the Ruwanwella Public ground yesterday.
The two day tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association and sponsored by Nestle Lanka Ltd saw the participation of 32 teams around the island divided into eight groups of four teams in each.
The quarter finals are scheduled to be played from 8.20 a.m. onwards beginning with the Cup segment. The semi finals are scheduled to be played from 1.00 p.m. and the four finals are slotted to be played from 3.45 p.m. onwards.

- Cup: Asoka MV Colombo vs Devapathiraja MMV Rathgama. S de S. Jayasinghe MMV Dehiwala vs Sri Sumangala Panadura. S. Thomas Prep vs Sarasavi Uyana MV Peradeniya and Rahula MV Katugastota vs President’s Maharagama.
- Bowl: D.B. Welagedera MV vs Nugawela Central, Kegalu MV vs Vidura College, Dutugemunu MV Buttala vs Debarawewa NS and Mahanama Kandy vs Zahira Mawanella.
- Shield: Dudley Senanayake MV vs Dehiowita NS, St Luke’s Ratnapura vs Sir John Kothalawala MV, St Joseph’s Anuradhapura vs Hindu College and S. Thomas Bandarawela vs Mahanama Navodya Panadura.
