Reflectors, Wind & Fire to scare away animals
View(s):Sri Lanka Inventors Commission (SLIC) this week held its annual exhibition for the 6th consecutive year, enabling new inventors to showcase their inventions. Here, a student, Dilhara Weerasinghe, from Bolana MMV Ambalantota, explains his invention to drive away wild animals including elephants. Reflectors fitted around an ordinary lamp, rotate on wind-power, reflecting light, as if flashing a torch. Even in the absence of wind, it rotates with the power generated by the heat from the lamp.
