Shuttle star Aishwaryaa to play in Burma
View(s):A rising badminton star, Ravichandran Aishwaryaa from OKI International School exhibited her talent in the game of badminton for the last four years winning various contests ranging from Zonal to National level. This youngster is coached by World Badminton Federation certified coach Mahesha Ekanayake who is assisted by Vijitha Hettiarachchi.
Aishwaryaa will represent Sri Lanka Under-15 badminton team at the Junior Asian Badminton Championship in Burma from October 4 to 8. Also in 2016 Aishwaryaa was a member of the Sri Lanka Under-15 badminton team that took part in the Asian Junior Badminton championship in Indonesia.
At the last Junior National Badminton Championship 2017 Aishwaryaa won the Double Crown winning championships in the Under-15 Girls Singles and Doubles events. She was adjudged the Best Up and Coming Player of the championship.
