Drums and dance to charm Dubai
View(s):Two of the internationally renowned dance groups headed by Chandana Wickramasinghe and Rakhitha Wickremaratne of NAADRO fame will join hands to present an exhilarating extravagance of drums and dance for the first time in Dubai at the Sheikh Rasheed Auditorium on 6th October beginning at 7.00 pm.
Chandana’s Dancing troupe and Rakhitha’s percussion outfit NAADRO are all set to rock Dubai with a treat of creative dance blended with percussion delight in their first ever extravaganza in Dubai.
As the name implies Drums and Dance – created by veterans Chandana Wickremasinghe and Rakhitha Wickremaratne will not be restricted to only the instruments and the dance to go with it. The specialty will be the music, costumes, lights, beats, movements and percussion all combined to give a never before experienced evening of entertainment.
The event is organised by ‘Jumerah Api’ and dance and the music veterans have contributied towards promoting Sri Lankan tourism in respect of dance, culture and music.
