‘Wassane Sanda’ goes to Sydney
View(s):‘Wassane Sanda’, the latest film by Udayakantha Warnasuriya will have its foreign premier in Sydney, Australia on October 8.
The first screening will be held at 6.15 pm at Rouse Hills NSW-Reading Cinema in Sydney. Later the film will go to Melbourne and will be screened at 3.15 pm at Dandenong- Reading Cinemas on October 14 and at 6 pm at Epping-Reading Cinemas on October 15.
Some of the scenes of the film are shot in the locations in Australia.
The cast of the film include Piyumi Hansamalee, Oshadi Himasha, Anup Ranasinghe, Ravindra Randeniya, Srinath Maddumage, Sweenitha Weerasinghe, Anula Karunathilaka and it introduces Anjelow Sanjeew to cinema.
Behind the screen, cinematography is by Ayeshmantha Hettiarachchi, editor- Praveen Jayaratne, assistant director- Donald Jayantha and make up-Indika Udaralanka. Lyrics written by Prof, Sunil Ariyaratne, Bandara Eheliyagoda, Kularatne Ariyawansa, Sunil Wimalaweera and Ariyasinghe Perera and to the music of Rohana Weerasinghe, playback songs are done by Sunil Edirisinghe, Amarasiri Peiris, Uresha Ravihari, Shashika Nisansala, Amal Perera, Abhisheka Wimalaweera and Dumal Warnasuriya. The film is produced by H. D. Premasiri and Mahesh K. Bandara.
