Gampaha retain overall Championship
Gampaha District retained the overall title for the second successive year at the National Youth Sports Festival which concluded at the North Central Province Sports Complex in Anuradhapura yesterday.
Gampaha District finished with a final total of 116 points well ahead of the runners-up Kurunegala District who managed to collect only 92 points.
In addition, Kegalle District ended in the third position with a tally of 83 points while the last year runners-up Colombo District were pushed into the sixth place with a poor 54 points.
