Unichela, LB Finance, John Keells and Dimo win
View(s):MAS Unichela and LB Finance made short work to overcome Hayleys and HNB while John Keells and Dimo emerged winners defeating Kanrich Finance and Commercial Credit in the ongoing 25th Singer-MCA Premier League 2018 League Tournament cricket encounters concluded yesterday.
MAS Unichela scored an easy seven-wicket win over Hayleys at the MCA grounds. In reply to Hayleys score of 126 MAS reached the target in 12 overs with brothers T.M. Sampath and T.M. Dilshan guiding with two lusty knocks of 57 and an unbeaten 30 coming off in 29 and 13 deliveries respectively.
The highest total of the day 294 was posted by Dimo against Commercial Credit at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium. Yasith Abeyratne (72) and Hashan Ramanayake (50) top scored and their bowlers Kavishka Anjula, Pramodh Hettiwaththa and Sammu Ashan captured two wickets each to dismiss Commercial Credit for 253.
