HCR unveils winners of F&B Masters
View(s):Hilton Colombo Residences announced the winners of the Hilton South East Asia and India (ISEA) F and B Masters 2017/2018 –Hotel Level competition. Following an intense contest amongst thirty food and beverage enthusiasts who are vying for the chance to represent their hotels at the Country Level of the Hilton ISEA F&B Masters 2017/2018, the Hotel Level winners of Hilton Colombo Residences are: Bar Challenge: Ruvinda Ashan, Barista Challenge: Damith Dilhara, Dessert Challenge: Shehan Madusanka, Culinary Challenge: Mihishan Rashminga and Sommelier Challenge: Ayesh Premachandra.
‘The Hilton ISEA F&B Masters is one of our many ways to discover, develop and celebrate the extraordinary talent we have in our hotel and I am certain our Hotel Winners will do us proud at the ISEA F&B Masters 2017/2018 – Country Level competition. Last year, our Team Member Supun Buddhika was the overall winner of the Pastry Challenge, and brought victory to our hotel as well as Sri Lanka’ said Karim Schadlou, General Manager of Hilton Colombo Residences.
Satrted in 2014, the Hilton ISEA F&B Masters has raised the bar for contestants this year by using mostly local produce for the black box challenges.Exceptions are only for key ingredients such as flour, cream as well as sponsored liquor that cannot be sourced locally.
Over the years, the Hilton ISEA F&B Masters has given numerous participating team members across Southeast Asia and India the opportunity to develop their skills and creativity in their chosen F&B discipline.
