KMC honours artistes at arts festival

View(s): The Kandy Municipal Council Arts Foundation held its annual arts festival on Thursday at the E.L. Senanayake Children’s Library Hall.
The festival, the fourth by the foundation, saw two artistes being given pecial awards for their contribution to the field of art and music. They were H.A. Nethimana for Tabla and Santhusa Herath for orchestra.
Municipal Commissioner Chandana Tennakooon (seen in the picture seated second from left) was the chief guest. The Kandy Municipal Council Arts Foundation is headed by N. Kapilaratne
