Finland to support develop SL’s Technical Education sector
View(s):The Govt of Finland has pledged its support to develop the Technical Education sector in Sri Lanka, during Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’s visit to Finland. He was accompanied by Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam.
The Sri Lankan delegation met with Finland Prime Minister Juha Sipila and its Education Minister Sanni Grahn-Lassonen. The Finnish Govt representatives appreciated the Sri Lankan Govt’s policy on the 13-Years Compulsory Education policy. Minister Kariyawasam visited institutions providing Vocational Education in Finland.
