Young Musaeus Tennis stars perform well
View(s):Musaeus College young tennis stars performed well at the Regional Qualifying Tennis 10 Tournament concluded at the SLTA Tennis courts recently. Coached by Ganendran Subramaniam and assisted by Prageeth Polgampola, Musaeus won first place in Orange Ball and Green Ball categories while placing second in the Red Ball competition.
In the Orange Ball category the Musaeus girls got the better of Bishops College on two occasions to take the gold medal while in the Green Ball category the Musaeus girls beat Methodist College, St Bridget’s Convent and Visakha Vidyalaya whom they defeated again in the final to win the gold medal. In the Red Ball category they won three matches against, Holy Family Convent, Methodist College and Bishop’s College but lost to Visakha Vidyalaya.
