Our World in Colour 2017
View(s):Our World in Colour 2017, Art Competition & Exhibition, jointly organized by Funday Times and Little Enquirer, to commemorate World Children’s Day, was held on Saturday October 7, 2017 at the J. D. A. Perera Gallery in Horton Place, Colombo 7. The principal sponsor of this event was Union Assurance PLC. Prizes for winners were also contributed by UTN Trading (Komodo), Kenton Bicycles and Pentium 2000.
Of the large number of entries received, the best 330 paintings were selected to be exhibited by our panel of judges, who also selected the winners and commended entries in the three age groups.The participants were given refreshments of Maggi Noodles and Milo, courtesy of Nestle. The prizes giving was followed by a magic show and face painting for the participating children.
