‘OKTOBER RAVE’ An Evening of Song and Dance
View(s):The Past Pupils’ Association of the ‘Convent of Our Lady of Victories’ Moratuwa is organising a family entertainment event; ‘Oktober Rave’: An evening of song and dance on Saturday 21st October, 2017 at the Empire Ballroom of Mount Lavinia Hotel from 7.00 pm. onwards and beyond midnight.

The organising committee has put in much effort to make this a memorable evening and the proceeds of the event will be channelled towards the building renovation of the Convent main hall.
There will be toes tapping to the music of popular band ‘Glory’ and DJ Eshantha along with an enticing guest performance by Corrine Almeida, Dr. Manela Joseph.
The sing-along-session would be led by popular singer Rajiv Sebastian while Lucky Deva would add more essence to the session. The ambiance of the evening will be heightened by the famous compere Kevin Lappen.
The event Tickets are priced at Rs. 3,500/- per head, inclusive of a sumptuous dinner.
The evening is lined up with fun filled and un-forgettable events, with giveaways and valuable gifts. All the best dressed ladies would walk away with attractive prizes while the luck could be tested at the entrance draw.
The ever so popular ‘Baila Competition’ with a touch of Moratuwa flavour will be the centre of attraction for the day.
The grand raffle draw initiated by the PPA to raise funds for the renovation of the Auditorium (Main Hall) of the school, will be drawn at this event.
‘The Raffle Tickets captioned ‘A Ticket for a Tile’ – are priced at Rs. 100/-. The draw includes three attractive cash prizes and five consolation prizes. An earnest request is sent out to all friends and families of the OLV community to be part of this fund raising project’ said Ramonez Perera, the Vice President of the PPA, OLV Convent Moratuwa.
