JK ‘B’ came into the game ‘Cock-a-hoop’, having beaten Power-Tech by 9 wickets on the DL Method, in the League stage.
Power-Tech won the toss and elected to field. Their decision proved absolutely correct, as JK ‘B’ tread on a mine field and got caught in the crossfire of Lahiru Fernando (10-1-29-5) and Dasun Seneviratne (4.5-0-15-3), to be all out for a paltry 149 runs in 44.5 overs.

As the heavens opened once again, MAS Silueta faced a new target of 149 in 29 overs (RPO 5.13).
By trying to keep up with the required DL par score, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. With wickets tumbling on one side, ‘Mr. Reliable’, Denuwan Rajakaruna (24 not out) doggedly held on when the rains came down again to terminate the match with the scoreboard reading 115/7 in 22 overs. MAS Silueta 6 runs ahead of DLS par score.
