Taylor Swift to release latest album next month
View(s):As pop star Taylor Swift prepares to release her next album ‘Reputation’ on 10th November, the 27 year old invited some 100 fans to her London home on 13th October, where they got the privilege having a sneak listening to the new album. The pop star selected the 100 fans via Twitter.
Meanwhile while in London, Taylor Swift took time out to surprise another fan by communicating live on her social media account. The singer wanted to then reward the fan named Lara by delivering a gift and it ended in a bigger surprise for the teenager when on 11th October Swift brought the gift herself.
Pop singer Ed Sheeran has been injured in a cycling accident in London. The singer was hit by a car as he posted a picture with his right arm in a cast and sling on 16th October. He was waiting for doctors to tell him if he can tour.
The ‘Shape Of You’ hitmaker is due to tour several Asian countries including, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, China and India as part of his ÷ tour.
Following health issues, Lady Gaga has announced new dates for the European leg of her Joanne tour. The tour will begin on January 14 in Barcelona, Spain and end on February 23 in Berlin, Germany. Meanwhile her reschedule North American will recommence on 3rd November in Montreal, Canada and end on 18th December in Inglewood, US.
Two half-sisters of Prince claim several songs of the late singer have been taken from his Paisley Park home to Los Angles. Sharon and Norrine Nelson have accused the late singer’s estate managers of taking the tapes which are said to be worth over $200 million. The siblings want the tapes back or are prepared to take legal action according to reports from the US. The estate managers say the tapes are at a secure location.
Post Malone took his hugely popular song ‘Rockstar’ to the top of the UK singles cha rt last week and has held on to the position for a second week.
The hip hop/trap song feature rapper 21 Savage on the verse. ‘Rockstar’ debuted on the chart four weeks ago at No: 5. The song then climbed to No: 2 and then ousted Sam Smith’s ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ from the No: 1 spot. ‘Rockstar’ is co-penned by Malone under his actual name Austin Post with 21 Savage under his real name Shayaa Abraham-Joseph, Louis Bell and Olufnmibi Awoshiley. Post Malone’s hit is taken from his second album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’. Multi-talented Post Malone is a 22 year old from New York, US. He is a rapper, singer songwriter, producer and guitarist.
Meanwhile, an earlier song by him titled ‘I Fall Apart’ has entered the UK top 10 at No: 22 from his first album ‘Stoney’.
Stefflon Don’s single ‘Hurtin’ Me’ arrived on the UK top at No: 9 having moved up from 11. The hip hop track is the very first big hit for the Birmingham born artist who is now based in London. She is supported on ‘Hurtin’ Me’ by US, Moroccan rapper French Montana.
Montana had a 10 hit recently called ‘Unforgettable’ featuring Swae Lee which peaked at No: 2. ‘Hurtin’ Me’ has had a mercurial rise on the UK singles chart.
The song first debuted on the chart at No: 47 and then lost ground dropping to 69 and 73, before reversing for the better upwards until it reached 9 this week. It all it has taken nine weeks to reach the top 10.
