The flags of blue and white soared in the air where the excited 2006 batch of old boys of St. Joseph’s College were ready to compete against their friends in the annual Old Boys Inter-House Cricket Encounter. With the presence of Angelo Matthews, as the Guest of Honour, who is also an old boy of St. Joseph’s, the event was inaugurated. Though separated by four different houses, it was evident that the Josephians embraced unity and played in a true Josephian spirit paying due respect to their Alma Mater.
The encounter was one of the best in the Josephian calendar of 2017, where many collaborated to make the event a success. While the commentary and the insights to the match was given by the old boys themselves, it was highly enjoyed irrespective of the win and the loss. The event was organized by the Batch of 2006 of St. Joseph’s and it was a day of laughter, reuniting and true sportsmanship.
