A reminiscence of a renowned irrigation system
‘Kaala’
View(s): Sujeewa Gunaratne’s maiden film ‘Kaala’, a story woven around the world renowned water and irrigation system of old Sri Lanka is now being screened at CEL circuit cinemas around the country.
The film consists of a veteran cast including Mahendra Perera, Madani Malwaththa, W. Jayasiri, Achintha Kalana, Nita Fernando, Jagath Manuwarna, Vishwanath Kodikara, Chamari Nisansala, Janak Premalal, Dharmapriya Dias and Welegedara Ranasinghe.
Produced by Sujeewa Gunarathne, screenplay is written by D. K. Atigala, edited by Rangana Sinharage, musical score by Darshana Ruwan Dssanayaka and cinematographer is Chandana Jayasinghe.
