‘Dhikthala and Kaalagola’ go to Gampaha
View(s):‘Dhikthala Kaalagola’ Punyasena Gunasinghe theatrical production that presented many popular songs to Sri Lankan music will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm on November 26 at Bandaranaike College, Gampaha .
Originally written by Charles Silva Gunasinghe, the play is a prescribed text for the theatre and drama of GCE Ordinary Level.
The cast includes Richard Maanamudali, Jayantha Bandara, Thushari Gunarathne, Isuru Weerasinghe, Upali Bandara, Upali Thiwanka Hewage, Saman Nishantha Gunasinghe, Ranjith Ranaweera and Rohana Wijeya Sri.
Music and lyrics were provided by late Charles Silva Gunasinghe while direction and production are done by Punyasoma Gunasinghe. Mahendra Gunasinghe and Nandana Gunasinghe handles percussion and costume design is by S. H. Sarath and lighting is by Mihindu Madhushanka.
