‘Dikthala Kalagola’ goes to Gampaha
View(s):‘Dikthala Kalagola’ will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm on November 26 at Bandaranayake College, Gampaha.
Punyasena Gunasinghe’s theatrical production, the play is a prescribed text for the Ordinary Level Theatre and Drama syllabus.
With a number of popular songs written by Charles Silva Gunasinghe, the play has a cast comprised of Richard Maanamudali, Jayantha Bandara, Thushari Gunarathne, Isuru Weerasinghe, Upali Bandara, Upali Thiwanka Hewage, Saman Nishantha Gunasinghe, Ranjith Ranaweera and Rohana Wijeya Sri.
Music and lyrics are by late Charles Silva Gunasinghe while direction and production done by Punyasoma Gunasinghe. Mahendra Gunasinghe and Nandana Gunasinghe handle percussion.
