The conventional and the bold
View(s):“Concept 2018 CurioCity’ by Fouzul Hameed”saw the top three contestants of Mr. England striding the ramp at the Envoy Mansion along with local models earlier this month giving the audience a taste of what’s in vogue for the fashion-conscious man of today.
Among the models was reigning Mr. England Jack Eyers who is also the Brand Ambassador for Envoy London. The first amputee to win the title, he is also the first amputee to take the ramp at many fashion shows including the New York Fashion Week.
The show featured seven collections, designed for every occasion, from casual wear to wedding attire and everything in between. While the conventional navy blue and black made its presence there were more adventurous designs in red, green etc. In addition the fabrics had at times subtle and at times bold, eye-catching prints.
The show was held at Envoy Mansion and Hameedia’s founder and CEO Fouzul Hameed explained that the purpose of the Envoy Mansion is to give visitors the overall experience of the brand. The official website for Envoy London www.envoylondon.com was also launched at the event.
All proceeds from the show will be used to help educate children in underprivileged schools in the country through the ‘My Friend’ Foundation, established by Fouzul Hameed as the CSR initiative of Hameedia’s. Explaining that he feels education is the main way to help underprivileged youth, he said My Friend aims to keep each child in school by providing them facilities such as breakfast etc.The organisers expressed the hope that people would be interested in volunteering with My Friend as well.
