Helping hand to rural schools
View(s):The Sri Lanka Air Force 34th entry (1971 group) Airmen in collaboration with the Lions club of Elvitigala Colombo donated Rs. 300,000 worth of essential items to rural school children in the Anuradhapura District.
The gifts including drinking water purification plants, school bags and stationery items were distributed among the school children of Halmillaweva Primary School, Weragala Vidyalaya, Palugasweva Vidyalaya and Galapitgala Vidyalaya and Ganewalpola Vidyalaya. The event was organised at Habarana to coincide with their annual get- together and in memory of their fallen colleagues.
