Athlete Dilitha brings pride to Royal College
View(s):Dilitha Ganegoda of Royal College, Colombo representing the Under-12 age group was able to bring pride to his school by winning three major titles during the athletic season of 2017.
Royal College was awarded the championship in the Under-12 Boys’ and the runners-up title in the Junior Boys at the All-Island School Games 2017 held from October 11 to 15 at Mahinda Rajapaksha Stadium in Diyagama. In addition, Dilitha emerged as the double gold medalist in the 100m and 80m events at the 48th Sir John Tarbat Junior Athletic Championship 2017, which was held from November 8 to 10 at Diyagama.
