Magical yuletide at MRH
View(s):The festive season is upon us and Mahaweli Reach, the colonial style Hotel by the river, has once again designed an exciting line-up of seasonal events and promotions to herald the yuletide.
With its garden, poolside, lawns and terraces transformed to offer guests a warm and welcoming experience, the Hotel will kick-off its seasonal affairs with its ‘Magic and Mayhem Christmas Carnival’ on the 10th of December. The carnival is an event for the whole family complete with game & food stalls, pocket rockets, balloon men, Mini merry-go-round, face painting, magician & fire limbo, kiddies disco and a visit by Santa himself.
The Mahaweli Reach Hotel will also be hosting three grand events during the season; namely a gala dinner on Christmas Eve, Lunch on Christmas day and of course a New Year’s Eve party. The chefs at the Hotel have created exclusive, season inspired delicacies for these yuletide feasts.On the menu are slow roasted turkey, paté of liver, roast beef, bacon wrapped goodies, winter salads with nuts, honey roasts, smoked meats, grills, an assortment of seafood, an irresistible spread of delicious winter desserts and other indulgent dishes which are expected to make an appearance this season.
Aligned with the festivities, Café M, at 619, Peradeniya Road, will be introducing a range of festive favourite hot chocolate drinks.
