Imthiaz's Tamil articles come out in book form; launch on Thursday
A book comprising articles written by National Media Center Chairman Imthiaz Bakeer Markar, a former minister, will be launched on December 21 at the National Library and Documentation Services Center, Independence Square at 4.30 pm. The book “Naduwadu Nalam (Hope for Betterment) – experiences of a politician” is published by the Meelparawi newspaper.
The launch will be chaired by Jamia Naleemiah Educational Institute Director Dr. M.A.M. Shukri. Former Minister Ferial Ashraf, President’s Counsel M. A. M Zuhair, Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum Chairman N.M. Ameen and Vidivelli Newspaper Editor M.B.M. Fairooz are scheduled to speak at the launch.
The Book will be dedicated to the late Foreign Minister A.C.S. Hameed, the late Western Province Governor Seyed Alavi Maulana, the late Muslim Affairs Minister A.H.M. Azwer, the late Zahira College Principal S.L.M Shafie Marikkar and the late Islamic Propaganda Council Secretary A.C.A. Wadud.
