Ferdinand’ Tale of a bull with a big heart
View(s):‘Ferdinand’, latest animated comedy based on Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson’s children’s book The Story of Ferdinand is now being screened in theatres in Colombo.
Directed by “Rio” famed Carlos Saldanha, the film features the voices of John Cena, Kate McKinnon, Anthony Anderson, Bobby Cannavale, Peyton Manning, Gina Rodriguez, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, and David Tennant.
The film relates the story of a giant bull with a big heart. After being mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and take away from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Set in Spain, Ferdinand proves you can’t judge a bull by its cover.
Produced by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox Animation, the film also received nominations for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song at the 75th Golden Globe Awards.
