Trinity fight back
View(s):Bandaranaike Central did well to contain the Trinity batting to 178. But the home team fought back to have the visitors at 132-7 in their reply at the Asgiriya Stadium.
Abishek Anandakumar, who struck 110 not out two days back against Nalanda took the honours with a knock of 53. The Bandaranaike spinners Jayawardena and Sayuru Roshane accounted for seven wickets all told.
Right hander Arosha Madushan held the Bandaranaike batting together with a well-compiled innings of 51. Left arm spinner Vimukthi Nethumal bagged 4-42 and off spinner Kavishka Senadheera took two. An interesting tussle is on the cards, as the visiting bowling attack does not give too much away.
