There has been an increase in students obtaining 3 ‘A’ grades at the Advanced Level exam in 2017, and a decrease in students who have failed in all 3 subjects, the Exams Dept said.

According to last year’s results 8267 students scored three ‘A’s, compared with 7,126 students in 2016. A/L 2017 had 22,021 students failing in all 3 subjects, which is a slight decrease from 22,392 failures in 2016. Western Province, with 2,586, had the highest scorers and also the highest failures with 5,881.
