Manaseer, Ifaz record second wins

The fourth day’s proceedings of the Under 21 National Snooker Championship conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Sri Lanka at the AAC billiards saw M.M. Manaseer of Brandstra SC and S.A.A. Ifaz of 8BPP chalking up their second successive win.
Manaseer conceded a frame to his opponent M.M. Nuski of 8BPP before coming out victorious by 3-1 in the give frame encounter while Ifaz had an easy passage against Lahiru Lakshan of Starlight.
The championship is being contested by 39 young cueists representing clubs around the island. The first round and the pre-quarter final will be played over five frames and the quarter finals over seven frames.
The semi finals scheduled to be played on January 16 will be over nine frames and the final slotted to be played on January 17 will be an 11 frame clash with frames to be played in the morning session from 9.30 a.m. and the remaining six from 2.00 p.m. onwards.
