A ‘Pirith Ceremony’ was held at the headquarters of the body that control sports to mark the dawn of the New Year. Even the walls were whitewashed and all looked set for a bright future. However an athlete had slipped and fallen on the tiles and some tiles had been broken. This athlete has been reported to the Police with the allegation that he has willingly broken the tiles!
CROSSING OVER?
The sports body that is responsible for Asian and Olympic sports is now in a quandary as officials are now planning some secret moves and to support these moves officials are on the verge of crossing over which may cause further damage to the sports body concerned. As it is the AGM body has not been held for four years and the chances it may be further postponed.
TO KEEP CLOTHES IN CHECK
The media unit of a sports body has now increased from 1 to 3. The main task of this special body is to keep in check the clothes of the players. It is reported that they are being paid high salaries. All this is to keep a tight check on the players’ clothes.
TO WASH AWAY WOES
